#THEWORLDWILDLIFEFUNDCOMBINEINSTAGRAMART WITH A #SWEEPSTAKES by kevin Allen.

One of the more innovative Instagram campaigns we’ve seen to date comes from Sky Rainforest Rescue, a partnership between British broadcasting company Sky and the World Wildlife Fund.

Sixty tiles—or Instagram posts—make the full picture (viewable on your mobile device under the account of user “Skyrainforestrescue”). The full picture, which was illustrated by Sandra Dieckmann, is actually pretty stunning. The posts are a mix of static images and short videos.

The group partnered with actress/designer Lily Cole, who created a limited edition pair of Veja sneakers as part of the #TapForTrainers campaign.

And it’s all for a good cause. From the Sky Rainforest Rescue website:
Made sustainably from Amazonian wild rubber, the soles of the "Taua" range are tapped from the Sky Rainforest Rescue project area in Acre, Brazil. By helping make rubber tapping more valuable for locals, we can begin to tackle deforestation, ensuring that the trees are worth more alive than dead.

For every pair of trainers sold, Sky will donate £10 to Sky Rainforest Rescue and WWF-UK’s work, helping equip rubber tappers with the tools to tap six more trees, and protecting even more of the Rainforest.
By liking any of the posts, users were entered for a chance to win a pair of the shoes.
